Payment Terms & Training
  • Payment Terms: Invoices are paid in a single lump-sum payment upon complete supply, installation, operation, and issuance of the Final Acceptance Certificate.
  • Settlement Period: Payments are settled within a maximum of 90 days from the payment certificate issuance date.
  • Technical Training: Supplier must train 2 Kuwaiti technical staff members nominated by the Ministry.
  • Training Plan: Submit a formal training plan within 60 days of final operation, including training materials and visual aids.
Maintenance & Support (SLA)
  • Warranty Duration: 31 months of comprehensive maintenance and warranty starting after final acceptance.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Regular scheduled checks (weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually) by resident engineers in Kuwait.
  • Fault Response: Response within 24 hours for normal issues and 4 hours for urgent issues.
  • Replacement: Obligation to provide an equivalent backup device within 48 hours if repair is delayed.
  • Software Updates: Update firmware and software to the latest vendor releases within 60 days.
